The newly started Bihar-Nepal bus service will strengthen the relations between India and Nepal

Nepal is always considered to be one of the closest allies of India not because of the diplomatic relations between the two countries but because of the cultural bond we share. Bihar plays an important role in continuing the cultural and social relationship between these two countries. While according to hindu customs, Janakpur in Nepal is known as the birthplace of Sita, Lumbini also carries greater importance for Buddhists as it is known as the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautam aka Gautam Buddha.
