Anand Kumar is an Indian educator and a mathematician best known for his Super 30 program, which he started in Patna, Bihar in 2002 for providing education and guidance to underprivileged students for IIT-JEE, the entrance examination for Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Anand Kumar has been running a highly innovative education program for the last 18 years to provide education to 30 underprivileged children for the IITs entrance examination.
Anand Kumar has been awarded in the US with a prestigious teaching award for his great contributions towards providing education to the needy students.
Mr. Kumar was awarded Education Excellence Award 2019 by the Foundation For Excellence (FFE) at a function on the occasion of the organization’s 25th anniversary gala in San Jose, California over the weekend. Speaking at the event Anand strongly encouraged the Indian community living in the USA and across the world to help education become the strongest weapon to fight with all the problems of the world.

“Making quality education reach to the needy students will bring a huge difference across all over the world by removing the core issues like poverty, unemployment, population, and a lot more,” He said.
“Indians have been doing wonders in different fields across all over the world, including the USA, and it would be immensely satisfying for them to give something back to their society and according to him there is no gift more precious than education,” Anand Kumar said while receiving applause from gathering comprising eminent personalities.
