HomeBiharPatna Darshan Bus service to be launched to explore the city Shubham kumar Bihar, News, Patna ‘Patna Darshan Parivahan Seva’ to be launched soon by the Bihar Government. The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) is planning to run the bus service to promote tourism in the city. Patliputra, modern-day’s Patna was a city in ancient India and today is the busy capital city of the state, Bihar. Patna is the culmination of centuries of historical glory and political fortunes. It enjoys the distinction of being one of the oldest cities of the world and has a dominating presence and effect throughout the history of India. Patna prospers around the southern banks of the Holy Ganges and farming fields. People who are residents of Patna are very excited about this new project. Arpita, a resident of Ashiyana Nagar said, “Although I am a native of Patna, I have not gone to places like Gurudwara in Patna City or Maner Sharif as my husband is usually busy with his work. Thus I’ll avail the service along with my 11 years old daughter.” [divider]Also Read- IIM Bodhgaya to get a new look inspired by Buddhist’s Ideology[/divider] A senior BSTDC officer said, “The buses will take people to tourist spots such as Patna Museum, Bihar museum, Takht Shri Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara, Kumhrar Archaeological Park, Maner Sharif Dargah along with other places. The bus fare will include entry fees of Patna museum, Bihar Museum, Buddha Smriti Park among others.” to the Times Of India. The headquarter of BSTDC at Hotel Kautilya Vihar will be the starting point of the buses. The bus will take to Kumhrar Park via Shahid Smarak, Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, Patna museum, Bihar Museum, Golghar Sabhyata Dwar, Kargil Chowk, Khuda Baksh Library and Budh Smriti Park. The government has invited intended bus service providers to submit their bids. As per the sources, the buses will be air-conditioned and the LED screen will be installed for the entertainment of the tourists. The operator will arrange and provide efficient, courteous and disciplined staffs for the bus service. Three AC buses already ply in the city by BSTDC. Among three, two of which run on Patna-Ranchi-Patna route.Residents along with tourists will surely love and enjoy this bus service.
