Another star who traces his roots back to Bihar, Avinash Tiwary, rose to fame cause of his commendable role in Imtiaz Ali’s hit Laila Majnu. Recently he was seen as Satya in Bulbbul, a movie directed by Anvita Dutt, and produced by Anushka Sharma and Karnesh Sharma.
Avinash was born on 15th August 1985, in a small village named Gopalganj in Bihar. A few years later he moved to Mumbai where he completed his studies and secured a seat for himself in one of the engineering colleges.
He had a major shift of interest after joining the theatre. His interest in theatre deepened over time. He worked with a few famous personalities. Then he dropped out of college in the fourth semester to take up acting as his full-time career.
His love for acting took him to New York Film Academy where he amassed enough knowledge about film and acting. On his return, he debuted with a documentary named Anamika: Her glorious past in 2006.
In 2014, he got a chance to work alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Yudh. He played the villain named Ajath Shatru. Next, he was seen in Tu hai meri Sunday, released in 2016, which was a movie of five friends.
All of this paved the way for his blockbuster movie, Laila Majnu in which he aced the role of Majnu. He was much celebrated by the industry for his diligence, especially the transformation that he underwent for the role. The movie was a hit and people adored him as Majnu.
Recently, he worked in Bulbul, written and directed by Anvita Dutt. He revealed that he wasn’t very eager to play the role of Satya as Bulbbul as it’s a story about her life and her hardships. The character of Satya didn’t appeal to him but in the aftermath, he found the movie interesting and sure wanted to be a part of the crew.
He was quite in awe of Anvita Dutt directing skills and went on to say that if ever he tries his hand at directing, he knows whom to idolize. He signed a few more movies, one of them is named Girl on the Train.
Avinash Tiwary is a young, talented, and diligent actor who seems to have a bright career awaiting him.
