Having a clean environment to live and work in is no small matter. Cleanliness is important to make sure that everyone in the area stays healthy and can breathe easily. Technology can do wonders when used for the right purpose.
A private firm hired by the Patna Municipal Corporation began pasting unique quick response codes outside houses in Patliputra on Thursday. There will be a control room at the corporation headquarters for monitoring the garbage collection process. The code in the control form will be green as soon as the waste gets out of the house. The QR code will be imposed on the gate of houses that have deposited the holding tax.
QR codes will be imposed on all holdings in the Patna Municipal Corporation area. Information about picking up garbage from home will be received online. The Municipal Corporation will also be able to facilitate real-time monitoring of door to door service, collection of fees, and redressal of the grievances of the general public. Corporation personnel working in door-to-door service will get smartphones, QR code readers, geo-tagging of homes, chips on garbage trains. The QR Code will turn green as soon as the waste arises. Door to door vehicles will not run beyond their designated route. Control room and display board will be installed in the municipal headquarters. Another car will be dispatched after a door to door vehicle malfunction occurs. Information will also be found on the mobile phone of the landlords. In case of any problem, the facility for lodging complaints will also be available.
Furthermore, it is our responsibility to take care of the environment and cooperate with people working for the same. These technological advancements make it easier to make India cleaner and greener.
