HomeBiharBihar schools to introduce Startup in curriculum of class 12 PatnaBeats Bihar, Bihari Representational Image The state government will soon introduce ‘startup’ in the curriculum at Class XII and graduation level to make the students aware of the concept from the early stages of life, principal secretary (industries) S Siddharth said at Bihar StartUp Conclave here on Wednesday. “A campaign to make youths aware about startup will also be started after Chhath,” he said. The government on the occasion awarded Rs1 lakh to one Chandreshekhar for working on a project to create online market space for construction material and Rs25,000 each to Amit Kumar, Abhishek Ranjan and Suman Kumar as consolation prizes. He urged youths to be part of startups in health, education and agriculture sectors. State industries minister Jai Kumar Singh said the government would provide financial help to 32 startups this time and asked the youths to focus on creating job rather than becoming job seekers. Altogether 3,024 applications were received with different startup concepts.
