HomeBiharBihar Govt to give 240 hrs training to hone youths’ skills PatnaBeats Bihar The Bihar government will provide 240 hours of training to hone skills in language (Hindi/English) and computer knowledge to smarten up youths to help them in finding jobs. The training programme for youths of the age of 15 to 25 year or those who have cleared Matriculation and Intermediate levels, would form a part of “Kushal Yuva Karyakram” (youth skills development). Addressing a workshop of JD(U) Parliamentarians, legislators and office bearers, Kumar, who is the party national president, briefed about prohibition and programmes connected with seven resolves so that they could go to people and make them aware of the schemes. As part of the 240 hours training programme for personality enhancement, 120 hours would be devoted for imparting computer learning, 80 hours for sharpening speaking power (Hindi/English) and 40 hours to lift behavioural skills, the CM said adding, the training programme would be carried at skill training centres set up in every block. The resolves promise to provide student credit cards for interest free loan of Rs four lakh to pursue higher studies, he said. In addition to this, youths in the age category of 20 to 25 years would get a monthly allowance of Rs 1,000 per month for two years to help them search for jobs without bothering their family, he said. The allowance would be given to only those who have undergone training in human skills, he added. Kumar briefed partymen about other programmes of the seven resolves like providing electricity, toilet, drinking water, sewage connection and roads to every household.
