Bihar Govt. organises “Bihar Utsav 2017” Food, Craft, & Cultural Festival in Delhi

Tourism, tradition, art & culture and ambience of Bihar will be showcased in Bihar utsav 2017  from 16th to 31st March at INA Dilli Haat in Delhi

Bihar Foundation Day is celebrated every year on 22nd March since the year 2010. To mark the occasion Department of Industry, Govt. of Bihar organizing 15 days long “Bihar Utsav 2017 and Handloom & Handicrafts Exhibition cum Sale”. Bihar Utsav 2017 will be organized in Delhi by the Bihar Government Department of Industries, by the Upendra Maharathi Shilpa Anusandhan Sansthan. This information has been given by Shri Ashok Kumar Sinha, Deputy Director, Upendra Maharati Shilpa Anusandhan Sansthan.

Shri Sinha said, The Exhibition cum sale of handicraft and handloom product of Bihar made by artisans of Bihar, Daily cultural programme by renowned artist, Showcase of art, culture and heritage of Bihar, showcase of “Tourism, tradition, art & culture and ambience of Bihar”. Apart from this Food Court featuring a menu of mouth watering Bihar Cuisine by Bihar tourism at INA Dilli haat will be also an Attraction for this year Bihar Utsav in Delhi.

The attraction of the coming visitors, there will be around 50 stalls of Handloom, Handicrafts and Food Court. Bhagalpuri silk, Mithila paintings, Siki products, Jute products like Jute jewellry, Tikuli Art, Nepura silk of Nalanda & famous handloom bed sheets of Biharsharif, and 8 stall of bihar  Cuisine will be some of the great attractions at this festival at INA Dilli Haat, In addition to Daily cultural Program and Musical evening at INA Dilli haat.
