Bihar Board has declared the results of 12th board exams on Saturday, 30th March. By declaring the results within 41 days, Bihar Board has set a record because earlier the students had to wait a bit longer for the results. This step from the board will be very soothing as the students don’t have to wait on anticipation and can apply for universities all over without any issues. This will also help the Bihar Board to regulate the examinations calendar and to organise examinations in time so that the student will not have to waste time behind their unscheduled examinations calendar.
The results are declared for all the three streams named Arts, Science and Commerce. The pass percentage of students is 79.76% which is 27.05% more than the previous year. Topper students have broken the barriers of 90% and scored excellently.
The individual pass percentage of the science stream is 81.20% while Commerce and Arts Streams’ percentages are 93.02% and 76.53% respectively.
In science stream, Rohini Prakash from High School Sarbahdi, Nalanda and Pawan Kumar from Government High School, Kinjar are toppers as both of them have scored a total of 473 marks which is 94.6%.
Rohini Prakash has also scored brilliantly in her 10th boards but could not become the topper. She is determined to study engineering and then to serve the country by clearing civil services. Pawan Kumar is very happy about his results and aspires to join the army.
Rohini Rani from St. Teresa School, Bettiah and Manish Kumar from Gaya College, Gaya are the joint toppers in Arts stream. Both of them have scored a total of 463 marks which is 92.6%. Where Manish Kumar from an underprivileged background wants to clear Indian Administrative Services exams, Rohini Rani, on the other hand, loves reading literature and wants to become a writer.
While in Commerce stream, Satyam Kumar from SKR College, Barbigha has scored a total of 472 marks which is the highest in his stream. Eldest in his three brothers, Satyam Kumar wants to become a Chartered Accountant. He has also scored brilliantly in his 10th boards as he got 9.6 CGPA.
