An enthralling arts and craft exhibition “Art Fiesta- 2019” took place in the premises of Indirapuram Public School- Girls located at Urja Nagar, Danapur-Khagaul road, R.K.Puram, Patna. The students participated in this event with great zeal and showcased their innermost creativity in a beautiful way.
Many renowned artists from Patna like Ms. Arti Sehgal (Muralist), Ms. Ritu Srivats (Painter), Mr. Shiv Kumar (Photographer and Filmmaker), Ms. Soma Anand (Painter), Ms. Shreyashi Pawan (Student Painter) were also present at the event and exhibited their beautiful art and craft pieces.
The chief guest of the event was Mr. Dinesh Kumar (Vice Principal, College of Arts, Ara). The Guest of Honour were Mr. Vishal Singh (Chairman of Indirapuram group of Instituition), Mrs. Meena Singh (Patron, Indirapuram group of Instituition), Ms. Meenakshi Jha (Co-founder of Kahani-Ghar), and Mr. Col. Prem Prakash (Principal of Radiant Public School).
The event was commenced by the lamp-lighting by the chief guest Mr. Dinesh Kumar and other guest of honour. As the event progressed the creativity of students won all the heart. Each and everyone was astonished by the artistic capabilities of those little minds. The students of IPS Girls had put up an Indirapuram Exclusives stall displaying handcrafted items made by them like, Origami flowers, Fabric painting, Photo Frames, Wall Hangings, Jewellery Boxes, Decorative Pen Holders and what not. The event was quite overwhelming and received a warming response from the people of Patna.
In the event, Ms. Deepa Sharan (Headmistress, IPS Girls) shared her thoughts on the emphasis and prominence of Art and Craft in our lives. She added that education of art and craft is vital for the students as it allows them to learn about inner-self, their culture and community.
Teachers, Parents and everyone else who were present in the event, witnessed the innovation of those genius young minds. The art and craft exhibition was organised successfully and was appreciated a lot by people.
