Patna Pirates, defending champions of Vivo Pro Kabbadi today announced that Celebrity actress, successful cinema producer and martial arts proponent Neetu Chandra will be the community ambassador for the team. As a community ambassador, Neetu will be rooting for the team and being the face of the ever-growing Pirate fan community. Her role as a Community Ambassador will also drive a message among youths about need to live fit besides promoting kabaddi as India’s most successful home grown sports.
Neetu Chandra was born and raised in Patna. She did her studies from prestigious Notre Dame Academy and in her 9th grade represented India in World Taekwondo Championship . She is brand advocate of Taekwondo in India and evangelist for basketball in India. Neetu is also a popular Indian cinema actor and has been featured in many Hindi and regional cinema. She will be soon seen in a music video of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s romantic single “Banjarey” and Rekha Bhardwaj’s romantic music video “Hui Main Tumharee”.
Speaking about her association with Patna Pirates as Celebrity Community Ambassador, Neetu Chandra said “ I am very excited to support champion team at my home city during their matches in Patna. Patna Pirates is the only team to have reached the play offs in all 5 seasons of Vivo Pro Kabaddi and consecutively retained the Champions Title in Season 3, Season 4 and Season 5. Season 6 will be played over 13 gruelling weeks against 11 formidable teams and the management of Patna Pirates hope to surpass their own record.

The tickets are priced at Rs 500 each for general stands, Rs 800 each for premium stands, Rs 1,000 each for the VIP balcony, Rs 1,500 for the VIP stand and Rs 2,500 for the VVIP stand.
The sale of tickets for matches in Patna has started. Tickets can be purchased online on www.bookmyshow.com or at ticket counters located at the stadium. A special Patna Pirates-branded Canter will also travel across the city to ensure availability of tickets for the Patna leg of the Season V matches.
The home team, Patna Pirates, which reached the city on Saturday sweated out on the home ground on Sunday. The Patna Pirates’ first match will be against Jaipur Pink Panthers at Patliputra Sports Complex on October 26. Patna Pirates has been placed in Zone B and will compete against Bengal Warriors, Bengaluru Bulls, Telugu Titans, Tamil Thalaivas and UP Yoddha.
