3. Shreyasi Singh became the first woman from Bihar to get Arjuna Award from President of India-

Shreyasi Singh, a well known shooter from Bihar, who claimed the gold medal in the Women’s Double Trap event at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, 2018, was honoured with Arjuna award by President of India on 25th September, 2018 at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

If you’re anyhow connected to Bihar then you must have heard about “Silao Ka Khaja“. Khaja is a multilayered, crispy sweet and a conventional Bihari dessert. Of all the places you could get Khaja from, Silao- a town in Nalanda district of Bihar- is utterly prominent. On this December 11th, the Geographical Indications Registry has granted Geographical Indication or GI tag to Silao Khaja.

8. Patna got ‘Sabhyata Dwar’ which is serving as the ceremonial gateway to the city of Patna-
