This teen from Bihar is the next rising star of Bollywood

In a state like Bihar, where formal education has been prioritized and where every parent dreams of his/her child to be one of the many, this Bihari charmer has managed to make a way for himself to the glamour World. Yashasvi Singh, a name often heard among the youth of the capital city, is a young achiever who has awed everyone by his voice and his looks. At the age of 18, he has happened to bag a Bollywood movie for himself set to release at the end of this year. Yashasvi Singh, started his career after realising his passion for music. Performing in several concerts in the state capital, this youth icon has shared the stage with celebrities like Darshan Rawal and Sanjeev Kapoor.

“I knew I wanted to do this since I was a child. This was my only dream and it is more of my love towards acting that has always given me the strength to do something different” says the 17 year old.

The movie will be shot in Dubai and mumbai and is a love story set in an extraordinary backdrop. The movie will have some of the dignitaries of the industry as the movie has a multiple start cast. 7AJ’s production, Rab Naa, selected him from a total of 1000 auditions in the city and has him under contract for several other upcoming projects. “He will be the leading star in the coming years and will not fail to make our state proud,” says Ravi Sikander Anand, director and producer of the movie. Movies aren’t the only thing he is excelling at. The young star also has several musical concerts lined up in the coming months at Dubai and Holland where he will be seen performing with singer Himesh Reshammia.

Yashasvi Singh was born in a political family in Patna itself. Aspiring to become an actor since childhood, he never fell for mainstream education. He completed his schooling from Delhi Public School, Patna and is presently studying Journalism and Mass Communication at Amity University, Noida. His primary schooling years were from Sherwood college, Nainital from where he picked up his dreams and ambitions. “Sherwood and friends from there have played a crucial role in moulding me into a better person” says the young star. “My friends have never failed to help me take criticism in a positive way and I can never thank them enough for this,” he adds.

In his early life, he performed as a singer which got him recognition and the love and support of the youth. “Youngsters and friends supporting me has been the biggest motivation for me and I strive to perform better each time only for them” adds Yashasvi.

From being brought down for his career perspective to not being accepted, the boy has faced it all. “He has inspired us all to follow our dreams no matter how impossible it may seem,” says his school friend. His mother happens to be the greatest support system in his life and also his inspiration. “I want to study theatre and acting in New York Film Academy after my graduation and make it to the top only for my mom,” says Yashasvi  in response to being questioned about his future. Currently in London, the young face of Bihar in the industry has a lot many good opportunities waiting for him.
