Daksh, a leading multi- genre Hindi Rock band is going to be in the town and you could be part of its New Year’s Eve concert. Having performed at various places including Delhi and Goa, Daksh as a band is very excited to be performing for the first time in Patna. They say, “A rocking New Year is on the cards. And we are up for all the excitement and buzz that’s going to be around in Patna.” They have provided a very unique and eye catching tag line for the event in the form of “Hindi Rock Ho Jaye!”

Daksh was conceptualised by Kavish Mishra its leading vocalist. Talking about the journey, he says that Daksh means perfect and right from its launch in 2007, we as a Band are on our way of achieving perfection through our work every passing year.

In their journey, they have reached many milestones up till now. Whether it was being part of their first movie, when they produced the song, “Dil Dooba Teri Yaad Mein” in “Kuch Spice To Make It Meetha” or doing their first album video with the hit song “Hai Dua”, they have tried to excel at every given opportunity. Being part of Delhi Youth Festival 2013, organised by govt of Delhi was also one of the High Points in their career.

Now, with more experience by their side and even more enthusiasm, they are here to entertain us all. Talking about this band performance, Kumar Prahanjan, founder of Next Gen World, the company responsible for managing the entire PatliPutra Mahotsav, says,

It is going to be the ice-candy of the entire Mahotsav.”, “What’s even more encouraging for people is that they can come here for free. Apart from that, they must realise that it’s not just the band performance that they would be witnessing, but they can also enjoy various delicacies of Bihari Cousins present at the food stalls in the Mahotsav.”

On Being Asked about mood of the Mahotsav so far,  Kumar Prahanjan says,

It has really become the buzz of the town. With each passing day the number of visitors has increased many folds. They have all appreciated the efforts taken by us and the govt in setting up different verities of commercial stalls and providing live Demo Training to women and youth.”

So, the Patliputra Mahotsav has got all the four major attractions i.e. music, food, shopping and masti required to make your New Year’s Eve a never-forgetting, ever-enjoying experience for the coming year, that too at a single place, without any entry fee. I mean, what else you need!
